This introduction will give you insight into the background and origins of this technique. You will also learn and experience some Basic moves. So, you will have a great grounding which  makes it easier to decide if a Bowen Course is for you. Cost of this workshop (€100) will be deducted on application for the basic course with your certificate of attendance!

What is the Bowen Technique?

A gentle yet highly effective treatment, which consists of cross fibre moves over muscles, tendons and ligaments. These very precise ‘moves’ can bring the body back into alignment by sending a message through the structures informing the body of the tension levels. This allows the body to make the necessary adjustments without force. Easier on the client and the Practitioner.

BOWTECH - The Original Bowen Technique

Bowen behandelaar worden betekent dat je een cursus van 7 modules, elk 2 dagen, in een periode van ongeveer 9 maanden gaat volgen. Onze docent Jacqui Hoitingh volgt in haar training de richtlijnen van het internationale trainingssysteem BowTech.

Elke Bowen Module bestaat voornamelijk uit praktijkgerichte training. Je leert door middel van demonstraties en brengt het geleerde direct in de praktijk. Tijdens de laatste vier modules (module 3 t/m 6), worden casestudies gevraagd, praktische en schriftelijke toetsen afgenomen.

Modules 1&2  zijn binnen een maand na elkaar, daarna zijn er ongeveer 6-10 weken tussen de andere modules 3 t/m 6.
Na het voltooien van de modules 1 t/m 6 komt er een herhalingsmodule 6A (herhaling van modules 1 t/m 6) die een paar weken vóór de examendatum van Module 7 gepland is.
Module 7 maakt dit proces af door het afleggen van een praktisch en schriftelijk examen.

Anatomie en fysiologie, pathologie is een verplichte extra bijscholing. Het wordt aanbevolen om deze cursus te volgen en tijdig, vóór module 7, af te ronden. Uw Bowtech Practitioner Diploma kan echter pas worden uitgereikt op voorwaarde dat u over uw certificaat voor anatomie en fysiologie, pathologie beschikt.
